Fruit Compote

Use any fruit that is in season, or frozen berries. This is definitely one or two of your 5 a day

Ingredients:

A couple of punnets of fruit - e.g. raspberries and blueberries, or a frozen packet of mixed berries, roughly 3/4 handfuls of fruit
1 tablespoon of sugar or honey or golden syrup - to sweeten if you like

If you have any fruit left over, mix it in with porridge oats and save it to have for breakfast

How to....

Tip the fruit into a saucepan and heat gently with the sugar/honey or golden syrup (5 mins).
